the only reason i dont make hoods is cause fat fingers/parkinsons desiese, dont mix well with tiny objects.

threading a needle is hard for...

so a little update for you.
at 760g i was able to get the bird to come 60ft instantly.
this bird is already dog tame after 1 week off of the trap.
1 week off the trap!!

i have never had this...

it only has one jess cause it messed with the knot and pulled it thru the grommet. i was in the process of getting another jess when the bird hopped up on the perch and sat comfortable like this. so...

the bird found a seam in the glove with its talon, oh and it wasnt nice enough to say sorry and let go.
no in fact it exploited that see and made me suffer...

i cant make hoods, i tried to once and it nearly drove me nutz. right now the bird is wearing training equipment, bigger anklets so help disperse the shock of the bate.
once i get the bird manned...

too many now we must kill them! how about they give falconers a chance? the golden eagle has the same reputation here so they let some falconers trap them...

for years an apprentice was only allowed a redtail, red shoulder, or kestrel.

1. the 433. signal works on the same band as HAM radio operators.
here in the states you have to become a certified HAM radio...

Why a harris?
if anything i would probably get a Kestrel, an American Kestrel at that, if you want to display a bird.
A harris hawk is not a "sit on a perch and gawk at bird, really none of these...
