Try and get out with a few folks working good dogs then make a choice, not every dog from a specific line will be exceptional, but you will find a few who cover excellent bitches with an excellent dog which will give possibly the best chance of a great working dog.

Jeff I am covering my bitch at the end of this month. I am using Glyn Thompsons dog Stan again. Both Stan and my bitch Jess are provern in the field and their last litter have all turned out well. Hence the reason for the repeat mating.
Stan is mainly Hege Haus and Jess is Barleyarch/Sanjon.
Like Alex says, try to go for parents that are provern in the field.
