Almost a carbon copy of yesterday’s outcome, jackdaw. After a quick scout round he landed back on the jeep roof. Shortly after he powered off low and hard, dipping down the hill from view. Quick tracked down in the direction last seen, finds him plucking his kill. Done well my pair the last two days.

Sounds like you're enjoying some decent consistent Hawking with the pair of them Tom, nice one and long may it continue!

Happy Hawking,

Bradley

Thanks Bradley. It’s comes and goes, you never know what tomorrow brings.

It’s been a while since his last one, and I didn’t see this one yesterday.

It’s been difficult for him lately, not that many opportunities for him. He did decide one day to stoop through an adult BB gull. He could have had it as it took a fair hit, and needed a bit of time to recover. He wasn’t at a decent height to kill in the stoop. But could have bound after the initial hit, but he knows what he’s doing and wasn’t that hungry. He did take this crow yesterday after it bailed at the litter fence, and was flushed by me.

Some brilliant weather the last couple of days. He’s been displaying and patrolling his territory at silly heights. Then once finished he’s killed both days, crow yesterday, rook today.

Tom

Today’s rook
