Default Mentor in Lancashire (Central Lancashire)

Hi all,

I couldnt see a specific link to Lancashire, so i hope you dont mind me posting in Gtr Manchester.

If anybody is willing to let me tag along on hunts or flight (training) that would be greatly appreciated. Or even if they would be willing to spend sometime with me, showing the ropes etc, I will be happy to pay any costs incurred too and will help do a fair share of work on the day.

I may as well be honest, I got a small glimpse of what it would be like to own a bird of prey last week and i did rather enjoy it....

At the moment im thinking with my brain and not wanting to jump in knee deep incase I realise that its not my something I want to do, or if the desire I have at the moment ceases in a few months time. So i decided its best to see how it is rather than reading all the pro falconry literature and watching all the online vids. I believe you never really get a full appreciation of the sport without getting your hands dirty.

The chap I met last week was an extremely nice fella, who has advised me that when he goes hunting in the winter he will take me along. If there is anybody who can help me fill the gap between now and the hunt season I would really appreciate that.

Im 35, work as a IT technician, im honest and reliable.
