Nathan

If you have a look at some posts they have a blue link below the post saying 'IFF starter pack' or something similar. Click on that link and it will take you loads of info

As in post 5 or 13 on this thread

I have read the Starter pack, and I feel as though I should maybe now give some more information about myself so that maybe some more help could be sent my way.

I'm 18 years old and work shifts that are very flexible, I had already done some research into the time needed, commitment required and the cost of flying a bird, obviously this was basic information. i'm definitely going to look for the books that people had recommended and do some further, more in-depth, reading, and like I said I have been longing to become a falconer for a very long time, however funds and spare time were the main factors stopping me, as I wanted to be able to commit to it and not leave it on the sidelines as it were. I wanted to do it properly and to do it well, if I was going to do it at all.

Have a look at Hallbecks post 5. Both clubs will make you welcome, I am sure.
If it is like mine, you can go along and have a look without joining. You may get on a few field meets, and possibly find a mentor when the time comes.
