Hi Matty
I have been interested in Birds of Prey for many years, as I said I have absolutly no experince of keeping one. I have never felt that I could keep one in the past as I moved around a lot due to various jobs. I now feel settled and commited enough to be able to fulfil this ambition and keep one. I used to hunt rabbits many years ago with a lurcher, but never with a hawk, I have in fact never even seen someone using a hawk to hunt apart from TV documentries. You appear to have been around them for a long time and your collection sounds very impressive.

Mick I wouldn't say that merseyside had the correct land for a falcon. You need open country really, unless your willing to travel. For a first bird I would say a Harris hawk as their easily trained and big enough to take some small early mistakes
