I struggle keeping an eye on the bird without a camera. I've got a GoPro which I am going to fit on my head and maybe catch some in action.

We hawk quail with male HHs and hare with the females running two or three dogs off Peruvian horses.

Thanks Harry,
Nick treasured your books, and was inspired by what you achieved with your Harris' Hawks. After he died the books came to me. Desert Hawking 2 & 4, the latter inscribed to him by yourself, 2009. They are proudly on my bookshelf !

Spot on! Video is just of a few of her flights... often she went the wrong side of the hedge or tree for me to get any film. And it shows only a fraction of her abilities. She killed something nearly every time flown.

I'm an avid rider and very interested in the horse aspect of this! Aren't your birds nervous around them? Do the horses undergo any special training?
