Default Things that are required?

What is your mentor supposed to teach you and don't mean handing/housing

i mean like the things listed blow

are they required to provide a minimum of 30 hours of field instruction?
how to work with hawks and falcons?
teach you how to take care of a imprint?

or are these thing you have to learn later as you go on?
Im from Canada

Thanks

All depends where in Canada you are. A mentor is required to do none of the above. A mentor is "required" to make sure he/she provides you with knowledge and education to the questions you have. You should know your mentor and work with your mentor around their birds for at least a year before you get your first bird.

Is falconry popular in Canada? I have a mate (best mate) in Alberta, panoka, and he was wondering last time he was back home.
