Hey POP thanks, how are you. I had a very good hood maker comment that the throat slash might be distracting. I then received an order for one yesterday asking I make one without the throat lacing and just got two orders about an hour ago asking for the throat lacing. So I will offer the choice with or without the throat lacing. He was on to something..

Hello if you look on this forum there are many tips on how to make hoods. Try Modern Apprentice.com as well.

Lovely work Ken, I like the silver and blue, very smart. I have pretty much given up making hoods now. Hoods are sold so cheap on ebay and the like its just not worth the time and effort anymore.
All the best.
Emma.

Ps...have you tried a plaited throat lash done in the two colours? that might look smart?

Hello Emma, I wouldn't let e-bay stop you from making hoods. There will always be falconers who prefer quality and a hood that will last them years rather than a few months.
I will give the throat slash a try,
Thank you.
