Default Clayton Smith Hood

Clay Smith is selling a hood on e-bay. For those that do not know him, his hoods are the Finest Quality, one of the best to ever stitch a hood.

Well Ray and Clay are good friends and Ray's hoods are very, very nice. Clayton was and is such an innovator he came up with many innovations on the hood that hood makers are still doing today. My opinion Clay is one of the top three modern hood makers to ever stitch a hood., just my opinion. Clay started making hoods in the late 70's and his hoods are much sought after. They are harder to come by that is for sure. Well worth whatever you pay for it.

I recently got a hood from Ray. Not much to say other than you would be hard pressed to find one better and he is a top quality person.

Thanks Ken, he made one for my Pere/Lanner aparently the first one he has made for this hybrid it fits absolutely perfectly. I found him to be very genuine and I cannot see how one could improve on the quality of this hood, Atb Derry.

The feathers are Sharp-tail Grouse on the "ring" and banty hackle for the long ones. With a little badger hair thrown in.
That message was from Clay.
