I forgot to mention, in the first picture, the eagle in the middle is with 2 harris hawks . I am not 100% sure, but believe they are all within 1 day of each other. I know the eagle weighed 91 grams. I think the Harris hawks typically weigh about 50 grams.

My guess would be 4.5lbs for male, 6-6.5lbs if female. I have a model that is spot on at predicting weights of falcons and hawks ... now this will be an interesting challenge!

I've seen this unique bird, almost an early brancher, big head, big feet, looks like rust on the shoulders, with a white tipped tail. Not really that big in my opinion, I think it will fledge around the size of a Feruginous or Bonelli's, somewhere in this range, as of yet sex isnt determined. Would be nice if the mentality would allow for gang hawking or at least flying a threesome.

It has feathers down the tarsus, should be able to take the cold alot better than a Harris, hopefully easily take hares or white tail jacks, possibly geese as well.

The good points are hopefully you wont have to put up with all the paper work that keeping Goldies have with them or worrying about it eating the neighbor's dog, etc., or finding abundant quarry to hunt.
