i think its legal to keep them if you are rehabillitating injured raptors but you must have a permit for that. also they train raptors for educational shows like at zoos and stuff . yea so you cant hunt with them this website may be of some help

Antman flies Aussie birds of prey in displays- I think his pictures are in the Australian Wildlife thread. I was watching my koi in the dam at my door this morning, just at sunrise, when all the bush birds gave their alarm calls, and a beautiful young wedgetail came out of the bushes and flew right past me. Landed about fifty yards away with the morning sun highlighting the colours- bloody beautiful- and on my own place too Jay.

Are you allowed to Rehab or breed raptors for rehabilitation or reintroduction ?
