Didn't manage to get it on film, he was away upon the sun. He had a few failed attempts before this rook today.

Cracking Pics Tom, it looks to have been pretty dry where you are! Same down here still not had any significant Rainfall since last June. Steve.

Cheers Steve, certainly has been very dry here, perhaps the driest I've known, for this month anyway. But there's a bit of a temperature drop this morning, also low cloud rolling in from the east.

Things have changed for the better here now over the last 72 hours! Plenty of Rain and an awesome thunderstorm in the night with plenty more on the way later. Hopefully wild Pheasants will do better than last year as it was so dry, there was no standing water at all on my permission last winter which usually has plenty of ponds and wet ditches it was a real struggle where it usually holds a good population.
