I have a female off big kev massy that is half the size of that, why do you want small ferrets? if youre hawking over a ferret the last thing you want is a rabbit bolting with a ferret on it's back, this quite often happens with small ferrets and last year it happened to me with a medium sized ferret and if it wasnt for a dive that would put david james to shame the rabbit and ferret would have felt the full force of my female harris hawk, if you ferret with nets then it makes sence to have a small ferret, this allows the ferret to exit and enter the warren without disturbing the nets, but for hawking or shooting over ferrets the size is matterless.

I want small ferrets because I now ferret with nets. When I used to ferret with my hawks, I had, and still have the bigger ferrets! This small jill I have weighs 7.5oz, can you post a picture of your jill, I'd be really interested to have a look at a 3.75oz one fully grown.

Nice pictures John, it's hard to see how small she is in those dainty hands of your lasses, should have taken a pic in one of your great dawks!
