Cracking hood Ian and good to see you again.
Tried her out early this evening, better results than I expected. Slipped the hood on and off for about 1/2 hr then drew the braces and put her on ring perch for 1 hr. She took it all quite well. Not perfect pics, will do some more later.
Regards
Roy

Had a bit of a change from hood making, I have tried hard not to get bogged down with minute detail, what do you think?

Thanks for looking.

Wish the bird and the talent to paint that were both mine. Well done Ian.

Not the first thing Ant. I have painted things for fun most of my life. I don't take it too seriously though.

Cheers George, I am normally very anal about detail but made a determined effort to loosen up a bit and enjoy the process.

What very supportive responses, thankyou.
Just to clarify I don't really do commissions, I prefer to paint what I am inspired to paint. I am not good enough to paint what's in your mind.
I have given a few away as a surprise gift along with a hood on occasion.
