Thanks for the comments, much appreciated. I enjoy making the videos to try and show the versatility of different raptors and share some field experiences. Just unfortunate that most of the best flights are missed due to flying out of sight or behind trees, into sun etc.

👍 Cheers... Based in South Staffordshire, junc 11 M6. Mainly hunt in Staffordshire and Shropshire but occasionally Wales, West Mids and Scotland.

Love it when harrises dive bomb into thick cover. Nice dogs too.

The versatility of this bird never ceases to amaze me. From off-the-glove flights at ferreted rabbits to following-on in woodland for opportunstic type flying and my favourite, hill soaring above dogs then stooping at flushed game.

The bond between hawk, dog, ferrets and human becomes even more apparent whilst cooking your catch over a camp fire. Soul cleansing stuff!
