Yeah I always have this perception where most people don't like to read a wall-o-text right off the bat.

I apologize for this.

Anywho, I spoke with another animal rescuer and I learned that it is possible for and owl to do something called a "soft cast". It's a chalky bulky poop. They do this when they absorb the whole meal, usually if the situation is critical and thier digestive juices are out of balance due to illness.

If this is the case, I plan to slowly put him back on his regular diet.

I just gave him a 60gram meal with roughage. I'll see how that goes and decide accordingly.
