Went out to see how the local peregrines were doing today , the quarry is a cold place as you'll see. All was quiet for the first hour then some keking could be heard as the the tiercel and falcon burst out of their hide away to mob the local ravens.
There's nothing like a stooping peregrine to test your camera gear and skills, sadly both are lacking but i can think of worse ways of spending sunday afternoon. It's not snipe related but the dogs did find a dead woodcock or remains on one of the plucking rocks. Tony
