Default Natural breeding

I have a couple of peregrines. Every year I breed 3 or 4 youngsters by artificial insemination.
Last year, the following happend. The insemination took place after the first egg was laid, to late for the second egg. After 10 days when the clutch was complete and four eggs were laid and the falcon had breed four 8 days , i took away het clutch.
The result was the first two eggs were fertile and the inseminated eggs were infertile.?????

My question....... this couple lays always around 20 march.
I observe the falcons with camerasystem......, when will they copulate. Is that a week, or two days before laying?

Because when i am sure that they will copulate. I don't disturbe them anymore
