Hello i'm very sad to only just find out about Michele, I'm from a small village in scotland (new abbey) but moved to canada a year ago i was home in Febuary an ask a few people if they had heard from as i lost his number. A friend had tried on numerous occasions but got nothing . do you know where his ashes are laid to rest? I'd like to pay my respects when I'm home again. David

His ashes are at Forsinard cemetary, by the side of the Halladale river in Sutherland, Scotland

A long time ago i was hunting with him and David Clement , Franky Courtens at Forsinard at deer .
Whe ware flying his first male Harris ( Kollos ) and his prairie falcon .
Whe drove From Belgium to Forsinard and back in his old white Serie 1 Golf .
My first and best Harris female came from Ian Garland to Belgium by Michell . 2000 ú !!!!
My first Buteo Polyosoma came from Michell
My Pair off New zeeland falcons and so on ... from Michell !


!!! Big pints and a lot of acch wells !!!

Whe workt / hunt / made shows and whe drunk and eat a lot !!!
Whe had big arguments ! verry big ones !!
I will remember him for ever !

Ian, thanks for bringing this to our attention. I never met him as our paths never quite crossed but Dave Clements (a fellow Cumbrian) spoke of him very highly.

Strath Halladale...is there anywhere more beautiful or more fitting as a final resting place for such a great sportsman?
