Unbelievable really - just like those who put a hooded but untethered bird on a fence post and are staggered when it flies off still wearing the hood. Was the transmitter actually turned on?

Hi I'm Donna the owner of the Lost peregrine in Cheshire.
Can I just put some corrections to the post!
We lost the peregrine on Wednesday, my husband was clipping on his creance and he was spooked by a dog barking and off he went.
He still has his Jesse's attached which is very worrying, there have been positive sightings of him a long the by pass from Morrisons depot nr Rudheath down to Davenham Northwich Cheshire.
We've been in touch with Cheshire falconry who went out looking after they had a report of a peregrine flying lose.
Can I stress JJ is friendly for a bird a prey and may come down to you if you have a chick on you.
THERE WAS NO TELEPATHY ON THE BIRD.
Thank you and please get in touch if you have any information.

Not saying you are wrong but this will only deter people from getting on here to look for their bird if they do lose it. People may think give it a bit of time and they might get it back before they have to come on here. Time is a big factor especially in situations like this🤔

Firstly you said there was no signal from the transmitter it was wearing and then you confirmed the bird was not wearing telepathy? (Telemetry)

It's important for your friend to provide people with correct information if they are to stand any chance of getting a bird back.
Sadly it would not be the first time for unscrupulous people to try and claim a found bird as their own
