The edges of the gape need to be slightly blocked over if it were to be for this bird but was very usefull exercise to look for where mods are needed to improve the next POP Hood

The hood looks mint m8 .I tried to make a hood a few months ago and it was **** so i no how hard they are to do.im waiting for yours to go on sale m8.

Thanks troy. I do sell them, I don't take any money untill the person is happy with the hood. I have a list of requests that i am slowly working on but it seems to be growing. I will have a go at anything . I like different lol

Hello Tom,

Very nice work. I like the fit.

As to your mention of the leather for the Turks Knot. Here is what I have done to improve mine. Using kangaroo was a suggestion by a friend and excellent hood maker.
Cut a strip much wider than needed. Dunk dye it. Stretch it and allow to dry. Then cut the final width of the strip. Split the strip and it is your option to bevel the edges of those four finsihed strips or not. Then make the Turks knot. You can add some cream shoe wax first or after or none at all. Buff the knot/strips when finsihed.

If you try it and like the results, post a photo. This has helped my results. Mine are better than they once were but not a nice as many others can make them.
