Thumbs up Re: The Artisan Field Sports bow perch.

That does look nice! Wish I could afford a pair!
Not cheap, but that'll be down to high quality material costs, no doubt.
Not sure about that Tig welding, although it may just be the photo.

ATB, Regards, Jim.

In the photo without the ring, the weld doesn't appear fully fused but as I said , it may just be the photograph.
Sorry, just an ex-welder being picky!
No offence intended.

Kind Regards.

Not having a pop as the welding looks strong enough but for a premium priced perch perhaps the expectation of the weld quality should be similar to the below a friend regularly knocks out, admittedly this photo is his work in aluminum but you get the idea.

ATB oh and how wide is the perching area?

Lovely looking bow perch my only concern is the perching area doesn't look wide enough.

Ah right see what your saying , the base plates have a machined hole in them that the 16mm fits into . The top weld is minimal to reduce damage to dressed top face of the base plate. It is also puddle welded from the underneath .

Perching area on medium bow is 71/2 inches

Thanks for your help Beaner, that photo explains what I was trying to get across, that is tidy work.

P.S. I'd like to recommend the Personalised Tail Mounts, I'm well pleased with the pair I purchased a while back.

Regards.

We listened to everyone's thoughts on the the prototype bow and we have made the perching area wider on the large bows and we now have a smaller size aswell
