Just seen that myself, canĺt believe the way some people treat birds, I feel like offering him ú50 just to get the poor thing away from him (or her) only 1 jess attached to the swivel so probably not long before the other one snaps and then another bird flying around free. Some people really **** me off. John

Hi John,
I was thinking the same, I would love to take the bird just to get it safe. Hopefully somebody will take it sooner than later. I believe its in the West midlands, I'm on the west coast of Scotland so a bit far to go to pick it up. I suppose you have to question the person who sold it to him, in the first place.

Is there anyone in the West Midlands on here who could go and check it out, and try and put the guy right until the bird finds a new home.

Don't think the bird has one feather that isn't damaged, and talons are worn badly, I would imagine from being kept on stone floor

Yes it's bad but I very much doubt it's unusual and it will never change until there's greater control of breeders.

Hi Jeff,

I think the feather damage reflects in the price. I would be quite willing to chip in if somebody could rescue this poor bird.
I don't know if you remember me, I picked up a nice little falcon off you called Goose a nice little Pere/Barbary, I was living in Cornwall at the time but have retired to Scotland and Goose is still with me .
Hope all is well. Would send you a picture but can't quite work it out.

Hi Leon
Glad to hear the little pere/Barbary is still with you, gone from one end of the country to the other.
I spotted the advert last night, I contacted the guy and he said his mate bred the bird and gave it to him, but now doesn't have time for it, if you scroll down on his advert he has other adverts for other types of birds. He also said he had someone coming to see it today from Swindon, hope they turn up and rescue the bird
