The sad thing is Derek, 99.9% of all raptor keepers couldn't give a monkeys, that's until they have their door kicked in, their house ransacked and birds killed.
The law is only available to those that can afford it, meanwhile we are told we should be grateful for democracy, what a joke !

I could not have summed it up better myself other than to say heads in the sand bums in the air unless someone bites their bums then their head will remain in the sand however the 1% need to express their views to the Law Commission or laws will come in to force that will impact on use all negatively. It is interesting to note that only you have really made any comments on something that has be described as major changes. Sleep walking into extinction comes to mind.

Gary , I know what your saying about only needing 1 person pointing the finger. I had the police at my door following a malicious complaint after I advertised an eagle for sale on behalf of a friend on this forum. They never even took into account the character or motive of the person making the complaint.

Luckily common sense prevailed , although I feel he should have been charged with wasting police time.

Atb,
Neil.

I had someone say that I had sold them bird when in fact I had gifted them the cabled tied bird. Common sense was lacking even though documented evidence proved the bird was NOT sold however I have barrister working on the situation so we will see if that person will be charged with perverting the course of justice. Hexham Police are looking into the matter along with the rest of my complaints so hopefully this may throw some light on the way search warrants are obtained using bogus information.

It's all down to self interest, everyone in government/civil service is trying to justify their existance, I have come across very few people over the years that genuinely care about conservation of wild raptors !

If I had any wisdom I'd have paid more attention at school and become a lawyer instead of a worthless lowlife falcon breeder !
