Default Hybrid Registration Please Read!!

I have been asked to put this on the Forum please read it and answer as best you can. This is very Important
Terry

This is a very important thread that is addressed to all stakeholders [bird of prey breeders], organisations involved in falconry and anyone who bred hybrid birds of prey especially before the 24 May 1994 and then after the 24 May 1994.
Would the above people and organisations please answers the following questions:

1] Did any stakeholders, organisations involved in falconry and anyone who bred hybrid birds of prey after the 24 May 1994 receive any consultation to pass an amendment to the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 to make hybrids birds of prey registrable?

2] Did any stakeholders , organisations involved in falconry and anyone who bred hybrid birds of prey before the 24 May 1994 receive any consultation to pass an amendment to the Wildlife and Countryside Act to make hybrids birds of prey registrable?

3] How many stakeholders , organisations involved in falconry and anyone who bred hybrid birds of prey before the 24 May 1994 paid to register hybrids before the 24 May 1994.

4] How many stakeholders , organisations involved in falconry and anyone who bred hybrid birds of prey paid to register hybrids after the 24 May 1994.

5] How many stakeholders/Keepers paid to re-register Hybrids before and after 1994?

I will not go into the details why I need this vital information until later on as I do not want to be deflected from the statistical information needed right now with debate as to the rights and wrongs that the information will highlight.

Thank you for your valued help towards supporting falconry.

Probably best make this a poll to make the results easy to collate/understand and read/summarise quickly.

Hi Terry,

I take it question 2 should read 'after' rather than 'before' the 24th May 1994.
Regarding consultees, is it not possible to track down consultees and responses now, or asking for the information direct from DETR?
I suspect the only falconry organisation who could possibly help would be the HB, but I guess they'd have been approached already.
Best of luck in your efforts to find what you're looking for,

Tony.

You are correct Tony and I have altered it but I did not write the questions
DEFRA/Animal Health say there must have been a consultation but they have lost it
The HB are not aware of any consultation in 1994 concerning Hybrids

Does this poll apply to those who are not breeders, but who have registered hybrids?

Due to an error in the setting up of this Poll I am going to close this thread and make the questions clearer as there is some misunderstanding. I may have to split the poll into 2 sections as well.
I will contact all members who have voted by PM to let them know.
My apologies for this error it is due to the way the Forum Software is set up and my own error in doing this in haste.
