If I could chip in, my lightforce is connected to 2 motor cycle batteries for which I need a wheelbarrow. So when my elder brother introduced me to the Evo67 torch I "saw the Light". I still use the lightforce for spotting however for shooting the torch mounted on the rifle is the way to go so much so that I'm getting another one for spotting . They are small easy to use(one hand) and robust, white beams are available, for shooting however I favour red.

Totally agree with the above, i use a opticfire 67 which is the same torch, incredible beam for spotting and shooting great distances.
Torch also can be mounted on the scope with a quick release so no need to carry a second lamp for spotting.

I have a quick release however it's never centered as I replace it on the scope . Is there any chance you could post an image of yours please? Mine was purchased with the torch however if there is a better system then it would be handy to know. Cheers

Hi

I use a Tracer max pro for shooting and have the handle attachment for lamping a hawk ,

The battery I now use are the Deben tracer which I find small and light weight for lamping and are excellent for use with pigeon magnets and flappers and last all day.

Gone have my Arnold Schwarzenegger days carrying 2 motor bike batterys for a couple of hour lamping Lithium Polymer Battery tech has moved on so much, at first they seem expensive but they are worth every penny.
