It looks a nice bird and a bargain but they said she's 50% pere so not really a prospective breeder.
An interesting point though Derek. Has anyone bred from a 25% pere tribred?

It did cross my mind something along those lines but wasn't sure. Thought I read somewhere about some hybrids are infertile.
What are the guidelines to determine what is and what isn't fertile?

I think you will find Tom that most male hybrids are fertile, but when it comes to females it can be a bit hit and miss.

That'll explain why it's such a good price, ideal for someone who just intends to fly it. It's a nice bird and I've seen quite a few nice hybrids it's a shame they lose the ability to breed.

The father is a 50/50 gyr/peregrine
The mother is a1/4 gyr 3/4 saker it's not from the 3/4 gyr1/4 saker

The breeding works out 3/8ths gyr 38ths saker 1/4 peregrine
