Grate idea!
I am trying to find as much information as possible.

But the video shows a smaller device then the one on your pictures, which is also attached to the backpack.
Do you know where I can find the exact or even better device with smaller camera and how much will be the price? And where to buy it from, of course?

Regards

Can I ask what it weighs? It looks huge and some of its weight is probably best carried by a back pack. Atb, Derry.

Hi Derry,

My concern is when these hawks/falcons are lost then picked up with the camera attached to their head. I couldn't think of anything worse.

It can't be a good thing for the future of our sport.

As the above poster has already started on; I got slated recently saying the birds will injure themselves because of the G force or it'll get snagged up if it went through a tight space!!! Plenty of people around the world are using them so if people don't want to use them then don't!!

This is the one I brought recently. Not had much luck with it on the bird as the on/off button went belly up so sent it back and awaiting a replacement. Camera weighs 17g and about 28g attached to a hood.

Here is a clip i took whilst testing it outside of the car............

I cant see why anyone would want to do it full stop. why do we need to see it from the birds perspective. if it was for scientific research may be , but for any other reason i just cant get my head around it. and like Adam says, i could bring all sorts of problems. atb Dave
