Default Lost Male Harris hawk in Harwich Area

Hi,
Hope you guys can help, my 11yr old Male Harris Casey gave me the slip this morning whilst transferring to his mews. He is quite approachable and will allow other to feed him.
Regrettably he only has one anklet and jess.... -after medical treatment for a leg infection and has a small noble bell.
His legs look a little bowed... that's how I got him!? And he has one tail feather missing in the centre.
He is 2oz over flying weight!
Telephone 07894 008772
Many thanks
Chris

Thanks, no I haven't, doesn't he need to be registered for that to happen?

It's worth letting them know anyway incase they get a sighting. It isn't much to register if you need to. Worth their weight in gold.

For a measly ú5 a year every bird should be registered with the ibr. I hope you get him back and also get him registered.

Pleased to say that after 8 hours walking yesterday and 7 hours today the phone rang and he was picked up close to home...he was sitting by someone's front door. they'd popped him in a cardboard box and brought him over...again, the bell drew attention to him..phew!! Thanks for all your help and best wishes on this forum.
Good bells save Hawks!!

Great to hear of the recovery. Most lost hawks turn up near where they were lost and especially when lost near home.

Harry.
