I use teryline cord of about the same guage as Mike's brick line. Probably the same stuff. it will be 200lb breaking strain ish.

The thinker and longer the line the more drag on the drone and you don't want that. Light lure, short line, anchor on the centre of gravity is what you want.

Thanks for the input gentlemen, here's what I came up with basically a fly fishing net clamp with packers and nylon tape sandwiched between to support the chute just waiting on some gelspun (only got 50lb for bonefish) then give it a go.
