Default Turkey day old chicks

Because of a great interest in BOP, 23 yrs ago a falconer friend gave us the responsibility of caring for 2 injured Tawny hatch-lings (Odin & Minerva), 2 years later, another injured young Tawny (Fathom), joined our family. Over the years these birds gave great joy to both us and the many visitors to our village. Believe or not no one complained of the raucous calling out to the other Tawnies in the vicinity. In fact there was a deficit in the vicinity before their arrival.
Feeding always meant a freezer full of chicks had to be available, as you all know.

Well sadly at age 23 Odin (who had always been thought of as male, at 18 laid an egg and was renamed to Odine, as He/She new her name) died. She was the last one of our owls, and so now we are released from our responsibility.

That now leaves us with a 40" x 24"x 35" high chest freezer full of Turkey day old chicks packed onto wire trays for easy access ( I do believe in presentation! They thaw all fluffy again )

Is there any interest in these?

My Pleasure, glad you got home OK,
Thanks for your kind invitation, that would mean a lot to us both, just let us know when you have sorted things out, and itĺs convenient, and we can arrange a visit. Have sent you my email address.

I will say one thing, the silence at night now is quite disconcerting. I haven't heard a Tawny since. Not one.

Sorry GolfRyder
'Twas a one time offer, many, many, many chicks as NightShadow knows, plus wire trays and a freezer thrown in.
None left, even for a sandwich for BBD.
Thanks NightShadow for taking them.
Thanks to this forum.
