Arrow NE Scotland - Aberdeenshire - Newbie

Hello,

I am very very new to the world of falconry to the extent I am starting from scratch. I have always been fascinated with flight and BoP in particular. After years of thinking 'could I do it?' I have decided to make attempts to start.
I live in the Buchan corner of Scotland and have seen a few falconers tackling the Herring Gull problem around the area which leads me to believe there must be falconers somewhere.
Any help in what books to read, what sites to visit and any help to begin this hobby / sport would be very much appreciated.
