I'm not the best with technical aspects of computers but believe the issue is actually with the forum itself and not anybody's personal computers. Although I agree everybody should have their computers protected.
I've experienced this issue on both my I phone when logging onto this site and from my laptop also, which has up to date anti everything software. Atb

Barry - please take a second look at your own posting and you will see that the word Antivirus is a hotlink to what seems like an obscure website - was this deliberate or accidental please as if not intended this is the problem I was describing.

PS interestingly my response to you has also made the word antivirus into a hotlink

Yes thanks Derry as I note that the word I Phone and laptop come up on your posting as hotlinks to ebay and I assume that this response of mine will UNINTENTIONALLY do exactly the same

I've got what you've got, so to speak.
Mostly links to obscure stuff on ebay.
It's very aggravating.

PS. Your post might not have replicated it for you but it has for me.

Guys, its nothing to do with forum, it is purely related to your personal devices, if you run malaware bytes, it will work, the infection will be PUP and it makes it very difficult to use selling sites such as ebay, it promotes other sellers such as amazon,

I'm well thanks Dean, see you have been going through the mill, nice to see the forum is a nicer place these days.

I get these all the time. I clicked on one of them ages ago and it linked my computer to a porn site and it lingers there 'til this day, which is handy

This isn't true of course, at least I don't think so, better go check.
